Dubai is set to host the fifth edition of the 'Arab Hope Makers' initiative, with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honoring the winners in a grand ceremony at the Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday.
This initiative recognizes outstanding individuals in the Arab region who have made significant contributions through acts of giving and service to their communities.
The winner will receive a financial award of Dh1 million.
The ceremony will be extensively covered by local and regional media, with live broadcasts accessible on the 'Arab Hope Makers' social media channels.
Prior to the announcement of the top winner, attendees will enjoy musical performances from celebrated Arab artists, including Hamood Al Khuder, Walid Al Shami, Balqees, and Omar Al Abdallat, in addition to international music producer RedOne who will perform at the event.
This year’s festivities will highlight the inspiring stories of the finalists, who have devoted their time, resources, and efforts to fostering positive change within their communities.
These finalists are recognized for launching initiatives that have improved lives, encouraged social solidarity, and promoted a culture of giving across the Arab world.
The event will also feature a range of distinguished guests, including prominent figures from entertainment, culture, media, and social media circles, alongside notable personalities engaged in humanitarian and charitable efforts.
Finalists for the 'Arab Hope Makers' award were selected by a panel of judges, who reviewed candidates based on the real-world impact of their initiatives.
Selection criteria included the theme of the initiative, challenges faced, tangible effects on the community, and the ability to effectively reach and benefit the intended audience.
Since its launch in 2017, the 'Arab Hope Makers' initiative has garnered over 320,000 nominations, operating under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.
The initiative aims to honor individuals across the Arab world committed to improving the lives of others through charitable work, disaster relief, and programs that enhance the quality of life for those in need.
