Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, recognized as the Mother of the Nation, has emphasized the crucial role of women in the continued advancement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Her remarks came in conjunction with International Women's Day, an occasion that celebrates women's achievements globally.

In an interview, Sheikha Fatima expressed pride in the accomplishments of women, particularly Emirati women, who she noted have achieved significant success across various sectors.

"I proudly and respectfully salute all women, and especially the daughters of the Emirates who have achieved unprecedented successes in all spheres," she stated.

Sheikha Fatima underscored that the participation of women in decision-making positions is essential for the comprehensive development of the country.

She articulated that International Women's Day presents a chance to reaffirm commitments to furthering women's roles in enhancing the UAE's progress.

According to her, this enhancement relies on proper preparation and the provision of resources aimed at maximizing women's talents and capabilities.
