Team Emirates clinched the Dubai Gold Cup Polo 2025, triumphing over Team Ghanjiri with a score of 9-8 in the final match held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.
The tournament, which featured six teams competing at a handicap of 20 goals, ran from February 5 to February 22. In the third-place playoff, Team Dubai Wolves emerged victorious against Team Banjash, earning the Bentley UAE Cup.
Sheikha Meitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed her delight at Team Emirates winning the title, congratulating the organizing committee of the Dubai Gold Cup series, led by Mohammed Al Habtoor, for the successful execution of the event.
She also praised Team Ghanjiri's performance in the final match.
The award ceremony was attended by several notable sports figures, including Khalfan Belhoul, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council; Ahmed Al Khaja, Executive Director of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; Nasser Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council; Mohammed Al Habtoor, President of the Emirates Polo Association; along with other members of the council and representatives from Bentley UAE.
