U.S. Airstrikes Target Yemeni Capital Amid Ongoing Conflict
Recent reports indicate multiple U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions in Yemen's capital and other provinces.
Recent airstrikes attributed to the United States have reportedly targeted the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, according to statements from Houthi officials.
The Houthi-run news channel Al-Masirah reported that these airstrikes occurred in both southern and northern areas of the city.
Earlier, they also claimed that U.S. forces conducted 17 airstrikes within Saada governorate during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
An official source from the Houthi group, known as Ansar Allah, stated that the strikes affected various locations in Saada, including two airstrikes in the eastern part of the city and three in the Al-Salem district, alongside six strikes in the Sahar district.
These airstrikes reportedly caused material damage to civilian property.
In addition to the strikes in Saada, the same source indicated that two airstrikes were carried out in the Amran governorate, targeting the Sufyan district.
The escalation of airstrikes comes amidst ongoing military operations and tensions in the region, further complicating the humanitarian situation in Yemen, which has been embroiled in conflict for several years.
