UAE and Egypt Leaders Meet to Strengthen Ties in Cairo
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi discuss cooperation in development, economy, and investment.
Cairo hosted a high-level meeting on Saturday between President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
The discussions aimed at enhancing the fraternal relations between the two nations, focusing on deepening cooperation across various sectors essential for mutual interests.
The dialogue centered on developmental, economic, and investment initiatives designed to fulfill the aspirations of the people in both countries, promoting further progress and prosperity.
Both leaders underscored their commitment to fortifying the robust ties that exist between the UAE and Egypt while exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration across all areas.
To honor the visit, President Al Sisi hosted an Iftar banquet for Sheikh Mohamed and the accompanying delegation, emphasizing the cultural and social ties shared between the two nations.
The meeting saw the presence of prominent figures from the UAE delegation, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs; Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt.
From the Egyptian side, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and several ministers and senior officials participated in the discussions.
The visit concluded with Sheikh Mohamed departing from Cairo International Airport, where he received a farewell from President Al Sisi and various senior officials, marking the end of this significant diplomatic engagement.
