UAE Pavilion Celebrates One Million Visitors at Expo 2025 Osaka

The Pavilion marks a significant milestone, emphasizing cross-cultural engagement and innovative storytelling.
Osaka, Japan: The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, has officially welcomed its one millionth visitor, a significant milestone achieved since the Expo commenced on April 13, 2025. The announcement was made during a special celebration at the Pavilion, highlighting ongoing global interest and engagement from a diverse array of visitors.

The one millionth visitor, a professional from the Japanese construction industry hailing from Kobe, was warmly received by Shihab Al Faheem, the UAE's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan and the Commissioner General of the UAE Pavilion at the exposition.

To commemorate this milestone, a special certificate was presented to the visitor, symbolizing the importance of this achievement.

Ambassador Al Faheem remarked, "Reaching one million visitors today fills us with immense pride and reaffirms the Pavilion’s role as a vibrant platform for fostering cross-cultural dialogue and innovation.

Each visitor who walks through our doors becomes part of the story we are telling, reflecting the UAE's values, people, and vision for the future."

With the theme 'Earth to Ether', the UAE Pavilion has attracted a continuous stream of visitors, drawn by its immersive storytelling and striking architectural design.

The Pavilion's narrative unfolds a multi-sensory journey through the UAE’s heritage and future innovations, addressing the balance between progress and sustainability on Earth and beyond.

Expo 2025 Osaka, which runs until October 13, 2025, continues to be a platform for the UAE Pavilion to engage with a global audience.

The UAE Expo Office, which operates under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, plays a pivotal role in the UAE's strategic participation in international expositions.

The Office aims to unite people and innovations to tackle the pressing challenges faced by humanity, promoting values such as optimism, openness, ambition, and resilience.

The Pavilion fosters collaboration and actionable outcomes through curated programming and strategic partnerships, focusing on areas of education, healthcare, sustainable technologies, and space exploration.

The orientation towards global development and inclusivity is integral to the UAE’s participation in these international events.

This Pavilion is situated in the Empowering Lives zone, alongside the Japanese Pavilion and Shining Hat exhibition hall.

Visitors can explore an authentic Emirati dining experience, a shop showcasing products by UAE creatives, and an array of interactive programs designed to engage and educate.

The Pavilion’s architecture pays homage to both Emirati and Japanese cultures, drawing inspiration from the date palm tree and employing traditional vernacular design methods combined with modern craftsmanship.

In alignment with its overarching goals, the UAE Pavilion emphasizes the linkage between cultural heritage and technological innovation, contributing to a narrative that champions collaborative efforts for future prosperity.

It receives visitors daily from 9 AM to 9 PM until the Expo concludes.
