UAE President Celebrates Eid al-Adha with Fellow Rulers
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed meets with other Emirates rulers to mark the festive occasion.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, expressed his happiness in meeting with the rulers of the Emirates during the celebrations of Eid al-Adha.
The leaders exchanged congratulations and well-wishes for the occasion, a significant religious festival in the Islamic calendar.
In a post on his Instagram account, Sheikh Mohammed stated, "I was pleased to meet with my brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, where we exchanged greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to return this blessed occasion to all with goodness and blessings, and to maintain for our nation the blessings of security, stability, and prosperity."
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
It is marked by special prayers, feasting, and charitable giving, reflecting the values of generosity and community in Islamic culture.
