UAE's Ministry of Education Integrates Advanced Track Enrollment Services
New streamlined registration process for advanced track students to reduce bureaucracy in the education sector.
The Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates has announced the integration of the registration service for students in the advanced track with the service for school admission in public schools.
This initiative is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to minimize bureaucratic processes within the educational sector.
According to statements made by the ministry, students from grades five to eight who wish to enroll in the advanced track for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year can access the registration channel by visiting the official website at moe.gov.ae.
The registration period will remain open until Friday, March 7, 2025, having already commenced on February 10, 2025, for Emirati students and children of Emirati mothers who hold valid identification documents.
The academic acceptance is closely linked to student performance in three core subjects: English, Mathematics, and Science.
The ministry emphasized specific academic criteria for enrollment in the advanced track.
Fifth-grade students must achieve a minimum score of 90% in English, while grades six, seven, and eight require an 80% score in the same subject.
Additionally, all applicants must attain at least 90% in Mathematics, with the same 80% requirement for other grades.
Furthermore, students from all grades in the advanced track are required to have a minimum score of 80% in Science.
Three mandatory conditions have been established for second-cycle students applying to the advanced track.
Students must meet the specified academic standards, reside within the school's catchment area, and, for those with disabilities, demonstrate integration feasibility as outlined in a medical report.
Approval from parents is necessary prior to schools submitting applications, following the completion of these requirements.
The ministry will verify the applications and notify applicants regarding their acceptance.
In cases where students do not meet the established criteria, parents will receive notifications explaining the rejection of their applications.
Additionally, applications may be returned if documentation is insufficient or if there is a mismatch with the residential area.
