In the Community Impact Award category, students from Oman won the gold medal, with Bahrain securing the silver, and students from the UAE winning the bronze.

Mohammad Al Qassem, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, emphasized that such competitions and initiatives pave the way for preparing future generations to meet future demands and enhance their competitiveness in artificial intelligence fields.

He highlighted the Ministry's commitment to involving students in AI competitions at national, regional, and global levels, alongside launching and organizing initiatives in this domain.

Aisha Al Nasser, the General Coordinator of the Gulf Robotics Olympiad, expressed pride in the UAE's role as host of this championship, which serves as a leading creative platform for empowering Gulf students in AI, robotics, and community impact sectors.

Regarding the selection process for the UAE's national team, Al Nasser explained that the Ministry of Education organizes an annual national competition focused on artificial intelligence, which encompasses various fields, including robotics, programming, and open source.

The top-performing teams undergo intensive training to represent their country in Gulf and international competitions.

Al Nasser noted that the projects presented by students in the Olympiad originate from school efforts under the guidance of specialized trainers and proceed through a multi-tiered selection process, starting from school levels, moving to educational zones, and culminating in the national championship.

"We focus on providing extensive training support to the top teams to prepare them for international representation, and we take pride that students are eager to represent not just their schools, but their country," she stated.

Salah Al Hosani, President of the Teachers Association, expressed delight in the association's participation in this innovative scientific event, which brings together a distinguished group of creative students under the supervision of exceptional teachers, positively affecting the event's high level of enthusiasm and interaction.
