The United Arab Emirates is launching a major humanitarian project to build a water pipeline from Egypt into the Gaza Strip.

The initiative, approved in coordination with Israeli authorities, seeks to provide long-term access to clean water for residents of Gaza, where infrastructure has been severely degraded by ongoing conflict.

Construction is expected to begin in the coming days, with the UAE describing the project as a lifeline for the region.
