Sudanese aviation authorities have announced that the United Arab Emirates has barred all Sudanese aircraft from landing at its airports.

The move comes amid escalating diplomatic tensions, with Sudan accusing the UAE of supporting the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in the country’s ongoing civil conflict.

The Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority has condemned the decision as politically motivated and called on international bodies to intervene.
