Sudan has escalated its accusations against the United Arab Emirates, claiming that the Gulf nation is financing and transporting foreign mercenaries—including Colombian nationals—to support the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.

The Sudanese government alleges that the UAE’s involvement is prolonging the civil war and violating international norms.

The UAE has categorically denied the allegations, calling them baseless and politically charged.
