Al Habtoor Group to Explore Investment Opportunities in Syria

The visit aims to foster collaboration with the Syrian government and assess potential investment sectors.
Al Habtoor Group, a prominent investment conglomerate, has announced plans for an official visit to Syria led by its founder and chairman, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, accompanied by a high-level delegation of executives.

The group stated that this visit is part of its initiative to explore opportunities for collaboration with the Syrian government and to study investment potentials across various sectors, driven by a commitment to assist Syria in its recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor emphasized Syria’s rich culture, history, and capable populace, expressing confidence in the country’s future potential.

He stated, 'We believe in its future capabilities and wish to be part of its revival through quality projects that create job opportunities.'

Al Habtoor further stressed the belief that the Syrian people possess the energy and skills necessary to build a strong future.

As an Arab group with deep-rooted ties in the region, Al Habtoor Group considers it a moral and economic duty to be present as partners in any opportunity to help establish a stable and prosperous future.

In preparation for the visit, Al Habtoor Group indicated that a team of managers and officials will arrive in Damascus prior to the chairman's visit to conduct preliminary exploratory studies and hold meetings with relevant stakeholders.
