Distribution of Ramadan Al-Mir Cards to Families of Inmates in Dubai
Generous donation by Sheikha Hind Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum supports families during Ramadan.
In a collaborative effort between the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works and various government entities in the United Arab Emirates, Ramadan Al-Mir cards were distributed to the families of inmates in Dubai's correctional institutions.
The initiative was made possible through a generous donation from Sheikha Hind Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Saeed Zahir Al Mazrouei, Director General of the foundation, officially handed over the Ramadan Al-Mir cards to Captain Habib Hussein Al Zarouni, Head of the Humanitarian Department in Dubai's correctional institutions.
The purpose of this distribution is to support the families of inmates during the holy month of Ramadan.
Following the delivery, Al Mazrouei emphasized that the Ramadan Al-Mir project is part of joint programs executed by the foundation in collaboration with correctional institutions and reform facilities.
This initiative aims to assist in rehabilitating inmates and facilitating their reintegration into society.
By addressing the needs of families while inmates serve their sentences, the foundation aims to alleviate some of the pressures they face during this period.
Al Mazrouei highlighted that a number of Ramadan Al-Mir cards have been designated specifically for this program, reflecting the foundation's commitment to fulfilling the Ramadan programs for correctional institutions, which seek to assist and address the concerns of inmates.
This initiative falls within broader efforts to enhance the rehabilitative processes managed by the correctional and reform facilities, contributing to the development of a healthy and capable community.
