Dubai Police Receive Over 44,000 Calls During Eid Al-Adha
Emergency hotline and non-emergency services manage a significant influx of inquiries during the festive period.
The Dubai Police General Headquarters, through its Command and Control Center and the 901 Contact Center, received a total of 44,102 calls during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
This included 40,808 calls to the emergency number 999 and 3,294 calls to the 901 hotline designated for non-emergency situations.
Colonel Bilal Jumaa Al-Tayer, Director of the Command and Control Center at the General Operations Department, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the personnel working in both the Command and Control Center and the 901 Contact Center.
He highlighted their immediate and professional responses to callers, which reflect the Dubai Police's commitment to timely communication and enhancing security and safety for the community.
He urged the public to use the emergency number 999 exclusively for urgent situations and to contact the 901 number for non-urgent inquiries and information regarding the services offered by the Dubai Police.
Abdullah Ibrahim, Acting Director of the Customer Happiness Center at the General Administration of Administrative Affairs, noted that the 901 Contact Center handled 3,294 calls during the Eid holiday, in addition to 919 emails and 144 chat interactions via the Dubai Police website.
He confirmed that the email and chat services enable the public to receive immediate answers to their inquiries and suggestions from specialized staff at the Contact Center.
