The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, in partnership with Dubai Courts, has reported that a total of 1,767 marriage contracts were registered in the Emirate of Dubai during the first quarter of 2023. In contrast, the number of divorce cases recorded during the same period amounted to 340.

Analyzing the marriage registration data, February emerged as the month with the highest number of contracts, totaling 763.

This was followed closely by January, which saw 665 marriage contracts, while March accounted for 339 contracts.

In terms of divorce statistics, the data revealed that both January and February each recorded 122 divorce cases, with March showing a decrease to 96 cases.

The information reflects ongoing trends in marriage and divorce within the emirate, aligning with broader socio-cultural patterns in the region.
