UAE Leadership Emphasizes Youth Empowerment in National Development Strategy

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlights the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of the United Arab Emirates.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, received a delegation from the Federal Youth Foundation and local youth councils to discuss initiatives aimed at empowering young people and enhancing their contributions to societal development.

The meeting, held at Al Bahar Palace in Abu Dhabi, underscored the UAE's commitment to prioritizing youth within the framework of the nation's comprehensive development strategy.

During the encounter, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized that empowering youth and increasing their presence in various national sectors is a central priority in the country’s development policy.

He articulated that the UAE places youth at the heart of its vision for the future, relying on them to continue advancing its developmental ambitions and to enhance national achievements.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works.

Other attendees included Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Higher Zayed Foundation for People of Determination.

The gathering also included key ministers, senior officials, and an array of guests.
