Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Meets Italian and Slovak Interior Ministers

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, hosted meetings in Abu Dhabi with Matteo Piantedosi, the Italian Minister of Interior, and Matúš Sutaj Eštok, the Slovak Minister of Interior.
During his meeting with Minister Piantedosi, Sheikh Saif discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in modern technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency of public security and law enforcement agencies.
The importance of unified efforts in addressing emerging security challenges was emphasized, along with the necessity to establish a foundation for security and stability through purposeful visions and effective partnerships that align with the aspirations of the current phase.
In the subsequent meeting with Minister Eštok, Sheikh Saif and his Slovak counterpart explored various topics related to strengthening security cooperation between the two friendly nations.
They highlighted the significance of elevating this cooperation to broader horizons, reaffirming their mutual interest in nurturing a qualitative partnership grounded in shared trust and collaborative action.
Both meetings included discussions on enhancing security partnerships and intensifying coordination to tackle cross-border challenges, underscoring the fundamental belief in the importance of international solidarity to promote community safety and ensure stability.
Attending both meetings were senior officials, including Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Major General Mohamed bin Thani Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, along with a number of other Interior Ministry officers and members of the accompanying delegation of the Italian Minister.
