UAE President Hosts Bahraini Crown Prince in Ramadan Meeting

On March 12, 2025, President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates met with Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting took place during Ramadan, a significant period in the Islamic calendar, and included the exchange of Ramadan greetings between the two leaders.
The discussions centered on reinforcing cooperation between the UAE and Bahrain, highlighting the shared commitment to enhancing bilateral relations.
In a gesture of hospitality and cultural significance, Sheikh Mohamed hosted an iftar banquet for the Crown Prince, which marks the evening meal to break the fast during Ramadan.
Attendees of the iftar included prominent figures such as Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region; and other senior officials from both nations.
The event underscored the collaboration and unity among the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
Prince Salman had arrived in the UAE earlier on the same day and was welcomed at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Khaled and several other dignitaries, marking the significance of the visit amid ongoing regional partnerships.
