UAE Weather Alert: Light Rain and Cooler Temperatures Expected
The National Center of Meteorology forecasts rain and cooler temperatures with changing weather conditions across the Emirates.
Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported light rain over parts of Abu Dhabi early this morning, specifically in areas including Al Ajban, Ash’ab, and Al Falah.
In Dubai, light rain was recorded in Saig Al Salam.
By the afternoon, Dubai experienced partly cloudy conditions along with sunny spells.
A video posted on social media by the Instagram account _storm_ae_ captured rainfall on a road in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the region's shifting weather patterns.
Looking forward, tomorrow's weather forecast indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies with the potential for light to moderate rainfall during the day across various areas.
A further drop in temperatures is also anticipated.
Northwesterly winds are expected to strengthen, blowing at speeds between 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h at times, which may lead to blowing dust.
The sea conditions will remain moderate in the Arabian Gulf, with the possibility of rough patches at times.
Meanwhile, the Oman Sea is expected to stay slight to moderate.
