Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Implements AI for Fire Safety Awareness
The initiative targets child education on fire safety using virtual reality technology.
The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority has emphasized its commitment to conducting a series of educational programs and workshops aimed at raising awareness among children about safety concepts and community responsibility, which are essential skills for individuals to possess.
This initiative seeks to enhance their understanding of how to respond to fire incidents, whether at home or in public spaces.
Lieutenant Aref Al Jabri from the authority stated, "We have numerous interactive community engagements focused on educating the public on the correct usage of fire extinguishers, particularly targeting groups that may lack knowledge on how to use them in the event of a fire.
We also aim to introduce the various types of fire extinguishers available.
Our participation in community exhibitions includes a virtual experience that allows individuals to practice the process of extinguishing a fire safely."
Lieutenant Al Jabri highlighted a new initiative that integrates artificial intelligence into public training efforts.
The authority is utilizing 3D glasses connected to an electronic fire extinguisher to provide training on the uses of fire extinguishers, creating an innovative and immersive learning experience for the audience.
This initiative not only aims to improve practical skills but also to foster a culture of safety within the community.
