Abu Dhabi Judiciary Sets Virtual Communication Schedule for Inmates During Eid al-Fitr
Inmates in rehabilitation centers can connect with families via a digital platform during the holiday.
The Abu Dhabi Judiciary has announced the schedule for virtual communication with inmates in rehabilitation centers across the emirate during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The communication will be facilitated through the 'Nafithati' smart application, providing an effective and secure means for inmates to connect with their families using modern technology.
The virtual communication sessions will be available from the first day of Eid al-Fitr until the third day, operating daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Families of inmates can submit requests for virtual meetings electronically via the Abu Dhabi Government Services website 'Tamm', or through the Abu Dhabi Police website.
Once a request is approved, an SMS confirmation containing the scheduled timing and relevant police station information will be sent, allowing for the virtual connection via 'Nafithati' without the need for families to be physically present at the rehabilitation centers.
This initiative is part of efforts to implement the latest digital solutions to enhance communication channels between inmates and their families, contributing to qualitative services that support rehabilitation and societal reintegration efforts.
