The Most Noble Number charity auction supports the Fathers’ Endowment campaign aimed at enhancing healthcare services for the underprivileged.
The Most Noble Number online charity auction, organized by Abu Dhabi Mobility, has successfully raised Dh83.784 million to support the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, which aims to improve healthcare accessibility for underserved communities.
The auction took place from March 11 to March 18 and showcased 444 unique vehicle plate numbers, including notable plates such as 10 and 99 as well as motorcycle plate number 5. A highlight of the auction was the sale of the plate number DD5 for Dh35 million, acquired by Muhammad BinGhatti, chairman of Binghatti Holding.
Launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, the Fathers’ Endowment campaign is designed to honor UAE fathers by establishing a sustainable fund dedicated to providing essential healthcare and treatment to those less fortunate.
The campaign is an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and emphasizes the values of parental respect, compassion, and community solidarity.
The proceeds from the auction will support various healthcare projects, including the development of hospitals, provision of medical equipment and medications, capacity expansion, and upgrades to operating rooms.
The wide participation in the auction reflects a strong commitment from business leaders and philanthropists within the UAE community to support charitable initiatives aimed at helping vulnerable populations.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, noted the community's enthusiastic support for the auction and acknowledged the funds raised as critical for providing sustainable healthcare solutions to those in need.
In addition to the auction, the Fathers’ Endowment campaign maintains ongoing donation avenues, allowing institutions and individuals to contribute through various channels, including its official website, a dedicated call center, bank transfers, and SMS donations via local mobile providers.
These efforts further reinforce the UAE's leadership in global humanitarian initiatives.
