Condolences Offered Following the Death of Sheikha Hessa bint Hamid Al Shamsi

UAE leaders pay their respects to Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla after the passing of his mother.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, offered his condolences to Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, following the passing of his mother, Sheikha Hessa bint Hamid Al Shamsi.

The president visited the mourning tent at the Emir's Diwan in Umm Al-Quwain, expressing his deepest sympathies to Sheikh Saud and his family, including Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al-Quwain.

He prayed for the deceased's mercy and for her family to find strength during this difficult time.

Accompanying Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Private Affairs, along with several senior officials who also paid their respects.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, also extended his condolences to Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, alongside Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance.

During their visit to the mourning center at the Ruler's Diwan in Umm Al-Quwain, they expressed heartfelt condolences and offered prayers for Sheikha Hessa, while wishing comfort to the Al Mualla family.

Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, also conveyed his condolences to Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla.

His visit was marked by expressions of sympathy and prayers for the repose of the deceased's soul.

In addition to the UAE leaders, condolences were received from several notable figures including Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Sheikh Hamad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, along with other senior officials and dignitaries.

The mourning gatherings welcomed condolences from various prominent members of the Emirati community, including Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and various government ministers and officials, attesting to the widespread respect and admiration held for Sheikha Hessa.

Notable business and cultural leaders also extended their sympathies, reflecting the significant impact the deceased had on her community.

The mourning events included attendance from members of the Al Mualla family, regional rulers, and various dignitaries, ensuring a dignified farewell for Sheikha Hessa Al Shamsi.
