The African Tourism Expo 2025 is set to take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, focusing on reinforcing tourism ties across the continent.
The African Tourism Expo 2025 is scheduled to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on May 22 and 23, 2025. This event is expected to play a significant role in promoting tourism within Egypt and across Africa.

Designed as a strategic platform, the expo will gather tourism industry leaders from around the globe, with a focus on integrating Africa into the global tourism network and strengthening relationships among investors, travel agents, hotels, and tourist destinations.

Under the theme "Sun of Tourism," the expo aims to connect Africa and Egypt, which serves as a key gateway to global tourism.

The event will bring together international industry professionals to enhance new strategies and business partnerships, contributing to growth in the African tourism sector.

The previous edition, the African Tourism Expo 2024, launched the series and recorded over 3,077 visitors, including 2,000 international travel agencies from 67 countries.

It took place over an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters at the Sharm El-Sheikh Convention Center, featuring 25 speakers who participated in eight sessions, providing insightful perspectives on the future of African tourism.

The upcoming expo in 2025, organized by GMT Fuarcılık, is expected to attract more than 5,000 professional visitors from over 70 countries, and showcase more than 100 tourism brands.

Over the two-day event, it is anticipated that more than 10,000 personal business meetings will be held, offering key experts and decision-makers in the sector opportunities to share experiences and insights with participants, thereby opening new avenues for investments and business partnerships.

The event will emphasize cultural heritage and sustainable tourism within Egypt and Africa, aiming to provide strategic momentum for the tourism sector on the continent.

With its opening in Sharm El-Sheikh on May 22 and 23, 2025, the expo will serve as a platform to launch new projects and investments aimed at fostering growth in the global tourism sector.

It will bring together tour operators, global hospitality brands, travel agencies, and industry experts from Europe, the Middle East, the Balkans, the Benelux countries, and the Baltic states.

Participants at the African Tourism Expo 2025 in Egypt will seek to establish strategic partnerships, contributing to the support of tourism development goals in Egypt and Africa and promoting the growth of key destinations across the continent.

The expo will also act as a convergence point for national and international tourism professionals, investors, decision-makers, tourism authorities, government officials, and ministry representatives.

By hosting the event in Sharm El-Sheikh on May 22 and 23, 2025, the expo aspires to serve as a bridge between continents, enhancing international cooperation in the tourism sector and unlocking tourist treasures across Africa.
