Fire Erupts in Gas Pipeline in Malaysia, 33 Injured
Thirty-three individuals have been injured, with six hospitalized, following a fire in a gas pipeline operated by state-run Petronas near Kuala Lumpur.
The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department has reported that a fire broke out in a gas pipeline managed by the state energy company, Petronas, located near the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
As a result of the incident, 33 people sustained injuries.
Out of the injured, six individuals have been transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Emergency services are actively working to extinguish the fire and contain the situation.
Petronas, one of the largest companies in Southeast Asia, plays a significant role in the country’s energy sector, contributing to both local and international markets.
