Fujairah Sends 257 Tonnes of Ramadan Food Supplies to Gaza
UAE's humanitarian aid operations to support Palestinian families continue during Ramadan.
In a significant humanitarian effort, Fujairah has dispatched 257 tonnes of food supplies to the Gaza Strip as part of the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) ongoing initiative to support Palestinian families during Ramadan.
This initiative is carried out under the directives of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.
The delivery of these essential supplies is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which was launched by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed.
Concurrently, five aid convoys have entered Gaza through the Rafah border crossing this week, consisting of 73 trucks loaded with over 1,184.9 tonnes of diverse humanitarian aid, including food, shelter tents, and other necessities.
The latest deliveries have increased the total number of aid convoys sent to Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to 180, comprising a cumulative total of 3,440 trucks.
Thus far, the UAE has provided over 37,309 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population under this operation, significantly assisting in alleviating the hardships experienced by Gaza's residents and ensuring the availability of essential supplies.
The UAE's commitment to humanitarian assistance aims to support all affected categories in Gaza, underscoring the nation's dedication to intensifying relief efforts and enhancing humanitarian action for the Palestinian people.
