Israeli Airstrikes Target Damascus, Hama, and Homs
Israeli military actions include strikes on military installations and scientific research centers in Syria.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces conducted aerial strikes in Syria, specifically targeting the vicinity of Hama city, Hama military airport, and various sites in Homs province, as well as a scientific research center on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Local reports indicated that residents in Damascus heard multiple loud explosions associated with the airstrikes that hit the scientific research center in the Barzeh neighborhood.
In addition to the airstrikes, there were reports of Israeli military incursions near the city of Nawa in western Dara, with dozens of military vehicles observed near the area.
Israeli media outlets, including Channel 12, confirmed that the strikes targeted several locations, including the T-4 airbase in Homs province, which has been a focal point for military operations in the region.
The scientific research center, impacted by these strikes, has previously been targeted multiple times by Israeli forces, with significant attacks noted, including a major incident in December of last year.
The ongoing military actions underscore the continuing tensions in the region and Israel's stated objective of neutralizing perceived threats emanating from Syria.
