Kuwait Child Abduction and Assault Case Uncovered within 24 Hours
A suspect with a prior criminal record has been apprehended following the assault of a child in Kuwait City on Eid al-Fitr.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, represented by the Criminal Security Sector and the General Administration of Criminal Investigation, has resolved a gruesome crime within a period of less than 24 hours after receiving a report regarding the discovery of a child with bodily injuries resulting from a sexual assault.
The incident occurred in the Hawalli area of the capital on the morning of the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
Following the notification, the Capital Governorate's Investigations Department launched an intensive inquiry into the matter.
Their efforts led to the swift identification and tracking of the suspect's movements, resulting in his arrest within a remarkably short timeframe.
Sources have confirmed that the child's health condition is stable, and he has been referred to the Forensic Medicine Department for further examinations and necessary legal procedures.
During the course of the investigations, the suspect admitted to committing the crime and was found to have a history of similar offenses.
Additionally, he has a criminal record related to drug offenses.
