Ministry of Interior Implements Security Measures for Eid al-Fitr Celebrations
Preemptive strategies established to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow during the holiday.
The Ministry of Interior and the general police leadership across the state have executed comprehensive plans to secure the Eid al-Fitr holiday, aiming to achieve the highest levels of safety and security while facilitating traffic flow across the country.
Major General Abdulaziz Al-Ahmad, Director General of Federal Central Operations, visited the ministry's operations room alongside on-duty officers to assess ongoing work and overall readiness.
The coordinated plan includes the security of mosques and major prayer venues during the Eid prayer, as well as an increase in traffic patrols on main roads, in markets, and commercial centers.
The ministry has urged the public to adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations, emphasizing the prohibition of children's use of fireworks and the need for parental vigilance, particularly near swimming pools and beaches.
Citizens are also encouraged to promptly report emergencies by calling the operations number (999) at any time.
