National Guard Executes 168 Search and Rescue Operations in Q1 2025
National Guard's efforts bolster emergency response capabilities across land and sea.
The National Guard announced the execution of 168 search and rescue operations both on land and at sea during the first quarter of 2025, from January 1 to March 31. This initiative is part of the National Guard's continuous efforts to enhance emergency response capabilities in the community year.
According to a report released by the National Guard, the Coast Guard executed 23 search and rescue operations in the waters of the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman during the same period.
Concurrently, the National Search and Rescue Center conducted 145 operations, which included 34 medical search and rescue missions in collaboration with relevant authorities, as well as 9 medical transport and air ambulance operations within the country, and 4 similar operations outside of the country.
The National Guard emphasized that these operations demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality services in the community year.
The organization utilizes the latest technologies and equipment to ensure the safety of lives and prompt intervention in various conditions and geographical areas.
