The decisive match took place on Sunday at the Defense Stadium in Cairo, where Pyramids FC triumphed over South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns with a score of 2-1 in the second leg of the final.
In the first leg held in Pretoria the previous Saturday, the teams ended in a 1-1 draw, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate victory for Pyramids FC. The winning goals for the Egyptian side were scored by Congolese player Fiston Mayele in the 24th minute and Ahmed Sami in the 56th minute.
Mamelodi Sundowns' only goal came from Ikram Rayners in the 75th minute.
This victory marks a pivotal moment for Pyramids FC, solidifying its position in African football and showcasing the growth of the club since its establishment.
