Sharjah Announces Eid Al Fitr Holidays for Public Sector Employees
Eid holiday period set for 1 to 3 Shawwal 1446 AH, with potential extension based on Ramadan's completion.
The Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD) has officially declared that public sector employees in Sharjah will observe the Eid Al Fitr holiday from 1 to 3 Shawwal 1446 AH. In the event that the month of Ramadan is completed in 30 days, the 30th day of Ramadan will also be recognized as an official holiday, thereby increasing the number of days off for government employees.
Normal working hours are scheduled to resume on 4 Shawwal 1446 AH, although those in shift-based roles may follow different schedules.
