Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Engages in Regional Discussions with Global Foreign Ministers
United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister addresses security and diplomatic concerns following recent military actions in the region.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, engaged in telephone conversations with several foreign ministers from both allied and friendly nations to discuss the current regional developments in the wake of Israeli military actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During these discussions, Sheikh Abdullah spoke with Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Dr. Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Georgios Gerapetritis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Morocco, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Bader bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Dr. Konstantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, and Dr. Abdulatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain.
The conversations focused on the implications of the current situations on the security and stability of the region and the world, as well as strategies to intensify efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and preventing the expansion of conflict within the Middle East.
The discussions also emphasized the importance of resolving outstanding issues through dialogue and diplomatic means and the necessity of working closely to establish regional peace and security.
