Tragic Accident Claims Life of Indian Expat Woman Returning from Eid Staycation in UAE

Sajinabanu, 53, dies in a car accident while traveling with family from Al Ain to Ajman.
A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday involving a 53-year-old Indian expatriate woman named Sajinabanu, who lost her life in a car accident while returning to Ajman from an Eid staycation in Al Ain.

The accident took place shortly after the family had checked out of a farmhouse where they spent a day celebrating the Eid Al Fitr holidays.

Sajinabanu was reportedly traveling with her husband, Nazeer, their younger son, and a nephew when their vehicle flipped over on an unpaved road.

The family had gathered to celebrate the holiday, with a total of seven families traveling in different vehicles.

Sajinabanu's family has highlighted her role as an organizer of the staycation trip, with relatives describing her as a central figure in family gatherings.

According to family accounts, the group had left Al Ain after a day of relaxation, and the accident occurred due to the car hitting a bump, causing the steering wheel to become unresponsive and resulting in the vehicle flipping.

Witnesses stated that Sajinabanu was ejected from the car and suffered critical head injuries, leading to her death at the scene.

Emergency services were dispatched to the location, and the remaining passengers in the vehicle reportedly sustained only minor injuries.

Sajinabanu was pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital in Al Ain.

The family member recounted the circumstance of the journey, emphasizing their traditional practice of taking staycations during long holidays.

They expressed their sorrow at the loss, noting the impact of Sajinabanu's passing on their family dynamics, especially given her reputation as a supportive and caring individual.

A social worker assisted the family with the necessary legal procedures for repatriating Sajinabanu's remains to her hometown in Kozhikode, India.

The completion of the required paperwork was finalized by Wednesday evening.

The family has been left in a state of shock and grief, as they come to terms with the sudden loss of a beloved member.
