UAE Commemorates 'Zayed Humanitarian Day' as a Global Beacon of Charity

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Representative of the Abu Dhabi Ruler in Al Ain, affirmed that 'Zayed Humanitarian Day' serves as a guiding light for charity and support to all peoples worldwide.
This national occasion embodies the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who transformed giving into a civilizational message and brotherhood into a noble humanitarian goal.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, Sheikh Hazza stated, 'On Zayed Humanitarian Day, we renew the pledge that the UAE will remain steadfast on the path of the late founding father, a sanctuary for humanity, a destination for generosity, a center for tolerance, and a vibrant heart of goodwill for all people, without discrimination or distinction.'
This day, which coincides with the 19th of Ramadan each year, serves as an opportunity to draw inspiration from the humanitarian legacy of Sheikh Zayed, reflecting on his good deeds in support of humanitarian issues across various countries worldwide.
Sheikh Hazza further noted, 'Following the principles of human fraternity established by the founding father, the United Arab Emirates has today, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, become a global symbol of humanitarian giving, carrying the message of goodness to the people's of the world, firmly believing that humanitarian work is the highest manifestation of generosity and the most refined expression of humanity rooted in our traditions and national identity.'
