UAE Launches First Global Hub for CBRNE Defense Strategies
The CBRNE HUB initiative aims to enhance international collaboration and innovation in countering chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threats.
The United Arab Emirates has launched a new initiative named the CBRNE HUB, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council, and organized by the Chemical Defense Command of the Ministry of Defense.
This initiative is taking place alongside the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX), situated in Hall 14 of the exhibition venue.
The CBRNE HUB seeks to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and international cooperation by creating the first global assembly of leaders, experts, policymakers, and leading companies focused on developing defense strategies against CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) risks.
The platform provides a unique opportunity for networking with industry leaders and discussing the latest innovations in detection, monitoring, containment, and response tools against CBRNE threats.
Discussions will also cover smart digital solutions and unmanned technologies designed to address chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive hazards.
Participants in the CBRNE HUB include global leaders and specialized experts who will discuss emerging trends and challenges in the field.
The initiative is set to showcase the latest solutions for preparedness and response to CBRNE risks.
Additionally, a variety of training programs and workshops will be conducted with the involvement of the Chemical Defense Command, Civil Defense Authority, National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Energy, and the companies participating in the hub.
These workshops aim to raise awareness about the dangers associated with these types of weapons.
