Sheikh Mohamed emphasizes the importance of humanitarian efforts during an iftar reception at Al Bateen Palace.
In a recent iftar reception held at Al Bateen Palace, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed the nation’s dedication to philanthropy and humanitarian efforts, aligning with the upcoming Zayed Humanitarian Day.

The gathering included members of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, various affiliates, and significant donors who contribute to charitable initiatives within the UAE and globally.

During the reception, President Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the foundational values of compassion and generosity that characterize the UAE’s approach to philanthropy.

He reiterated the need for continuous efforts to support vulnerable populations and improve their living conditions, reflecting the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was known for his humanitarian contributions.

Zayed Humanitarian Day is commemorated annually on the 19th of Ramadan, recognizing the humanitarian efforts made globally and emphasizing the commitment to various charitable causes.

The day serves as a reminder of the need for international cooperation in alleviating poverty, providing education, and responding to emergencies and disasters.

As part of the UAE's ongoing outreach, various philanthropic initiatives are supported through Erth Zayed Philanthropies, focusing on healthcare, education, and disaster relief efforts.

These initiatives have not only impacted communities within the UAE but have also extended support to numerous countries in need, showcasing the UAE's role as a global humanitarian hub.

The gathering at Al Bateen Palace marks a significant moment in reinforcing the UAE’s continuous commitment to philanthropy, fostering a spirit of generosity, and encouraging collective action to support global humanitarian efforts.
