UAE Red Crescent Launches Health Center in Hadramaut to Serve Local Communities
New facility in Husaissa set to provide primary healthcare services to approximately 4,000 residents.
The Emirates Red Crescent Authority has inaugurated a health center in the Husaissa area of the Burum Mayfa district in Hadramaut Governorate, during an official ceremony attended by various dignitaries, including Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, the Governor of Hadramaut.
The opening event featured the presence of several Yemeni officials, notably Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jumahi, Director General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office, and Dr. Khalid Al-Jouhi, Director General of Burum Mayfa District, alongside local community figures and dignitaries.
Dr. Al-Jumahi expressed profound appreciation for the support provided by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, highlighting the commitment of the health office to implement various health projects and facilities within the districts.
This effort aims to elevate the standard of healthcare services and medical treatments available along the Hadramaut coast, in collaboration with partners and donors.
Dr. Al-Jouhi recognized the Emirati organization's support for the newly established health center, emphasizing the project's significance in enhancing medical services for the local population.
The new health center is expected to serve approximately 4,000 residents of Husaissa and the surrounding communities.
It will offer primary healthcare services, handle emergency cases and road accidents, and include the four health programs associated with primary healthcare.
