UAE Strongly Condemns Attempted Assassination of Somali President
The United Arab Emirates has expressed its strong condemnation of the assassination attempt on Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, highlighting its commitment to combating terrorism and violence.
The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation following the recent assassination attempt on Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several innocent individuals.
Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, articulated the UAE's severe disapproval of such criminal acts, which he stated undermine safety and stability while contradicting international law.
He reiterated the UAE's steadfast rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.
The Ministry extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy from the UAE to the Somali government and the Somali people, as well as to the families of the victims of this terrorist act, while wishing a swift recovery to the wounded.
