The 14th edition of the AIM Investment Summit in Abu Dhabi will focus on global investment trends and future challenges.
The 14th edition of the AIM Investment Summit is set to commence on Monday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, themed "The Future of Global Investment: A New Direction for the Global Investment Landscape Towards a Balanced Global System." This three-day summit is expected to draw 20,000 participants from 180 countries, including heads of states, over 60 ministers, central bank governors, city mayors, and 1,250 speakers across more than 400 discussion sessions.

Among the attendees, 16 stock exchange leaders and 600 exhibitors will also contribute, emphasizing the summit's significance as a leading global investment platform and reinforcing the UAE's position as a preferred destination for international investments seeking opportunities for growth, expansion, and prosperity.

According to a statement issued yesterday, the summit aims to explore the latest trends and developments in the global investment landscape, address current and future challenges, and unify global efforts to formulate suitable solutions that contribute to a balanced and sustainable global economy.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Head of the AIM Investment Summit, noted that the event serves as a premier global platform gathering decision-makers, business leaders, investors, and government officials to discuss economic developments and explore new opportunities that promote sustainable economic growth.

The summit plays a crucial role in building strong strategic partnerships that reshape the future of trade and investment internationally, in line with the rapid changes in the global economy.

He highlighted that the world is undergoing unprecedented economic transformations, which necessitate enhanced international cooperation and the adoption of innovative strategies to address these challenges and boost sustainable investments.

Al Zeyoudi invited all stakeholders to participate in the 14th edition of the AIM Investment Summit in 2025, representing a unique opportunity to showcase promising projects and engage with leading experts to shape the future economic landscape.

The organization and hosting of such major international events reflect the UAE's pivotal role as a global centre for investment and trade.

The UAE's ongoing success in the external trade sector is attributed to proactive and flexible economic policies that support the business environment and enhance openness to global markets.

He also underscored the importance of innovation and technology in bolstering the investment ecosystem.

The UAE aims to develop a competitive investment environment based on advanced technology and sustainability, solidifying its status as a key driver of economic growth in the region and the world.

The summit will cover various sectors, including smart agriculture, energy, infrastructure, finance and capital markets, information and communications technology, industry, medical tourism, biotechnology, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, international trade, logistics and transport, water technology, tourism, and education.

The event is expected to feature 1,250 speakers across more than 400 dialogue sessions.
