Ajman's Crown Prince Emphasizes Collaboration with Global Automotive Leaders
Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al Nuaimi visits Changan Automobile’s R&D Center in Chongqing to explore innovations in smart mobility and sustainable transport solutions.
Sheikh Ammar bin Hamid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has visited the research and development center of Changan Automobile, one of China's leading car manufacturers, during his recent trip to Chongqing.
The visit provided insights into the company's advancements in smart mobility, technological innovation, and low-carbon vehicle production.
During the visit, officials from Changan outlined the company's strategic vision aimed at transforming it into a global leader in smart mobility, supported by a global research network comprising 16 centers and 180 laboratories.
They also highlighted the involvement of a dedicated research and development team from 31 different countries.
Sheikh Ammar was briefed on Changan's significant innovations, including the intelligent battery management system, iBC, which boasts 392 patents.
Additionally, he learned about the company's future plans to produce solid-state batteries with capacities exceeding 400Wh/kg by 2030.
The Crown Prince lauded Changan's initiatives and projects focused on developing smart and sustainable mobility solutions, reflecting a high level of advancement in the fields of industry and technology within China.
He reiterated Ajman's commitment to enhancing collaboration with leading global companies in the realms of innovation and industry, particularly in light of national initiatives aimed at promoting a green economy and sustainable development.
