UAE President Exchanges Eid al-Adha Greetings with Global Leaders
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan connects with leaders from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Iran to extend festive wishes.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, conducted a series of telephone calls to extend greetings and well wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The UAE leader reached out to several prominent heads of state, including Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia; King Mohammed VI of Morocco; and Dr. Massoud Bazargan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During these discussions, Sheikh Mohamed and the leaders expressed their best wishes for health and happiness to their respective nations.
They voiced hopes that this blessed occasion would bring prosperity and blessings to their countries and people.
Additionally, they invoked prayers for security, peace, and prosperity for the Islamic world and the global community.
Eid al-Adha, known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the two major Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God.
